For years, I’ve been creating art through commissions — personal, meaningful pieces that connect people to a moment, a memory, or a feeling.
But for a long time, I’ve held onto a quiet dream: to bring a story to life through illustration. To turn not just a single moment into art — but an entire journey.
That dream became real with The Tale of Lady, the Rescue Pup — my very first children’s book, based on the true story of how our rescue dog came from Romania to join our family.
It started as a gift — a way to tell my daughter the story of the night Lady arrived. But as I worked through each page, I realised this project was something more:
A personal story with universal heart
A chance to develop my voice as an illustrator
A way to expand from commissions into narrative art
Each illustration challenged me to grow — not just in technique, but in how to carry emotion, pacing, and personality across an entire book. It’s pushed me further than any one-off piece ever could, and in the best way.
Now, I’m proud to say I’m stepping into the world of children’s illustration — with a portfolio built on a story that means everything to me.
If you're an agent, publisher, or fellow creative looking to connect — I’d love to share more.
This may be my first book, but it definitely won’t be my last.
